About District 8

District 8 is a meeting made of Group Service Representatives (GSRs) from all groups within Dearborn, Ohio, Ripley, and Switzerland counties and Brookville's "Easy Does It Group". In addition, we have elected officials who serve a minimum 2 year term, in the spirit of rotation:

- District Committee Member (DCM), and alternate

- Treasurer

- Secretary

We also have Committee Chairs for the following:

- Hotline

- Jail/Corrections

- Media (website, coordinate with local Intergroups for AA's "Meeting App")

We are actively looking for volunteers to help us expand and support the following areas:

- Cooperating with the Professional Community (CPC)

- Institutions/Treatment Facilities

All are welcome to attend and get involved in this type of service work. Please note that visitors will not have a vote.
